SOFIA GALE's JOURNEY
SOFIA GALE
Sofia Gale is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter and performer from Perth, Western Australia. With a classic contemporary sound inspired by artists such as Birdy, Adele, Tina Arena, Missy Higgins and Sara Bareilles, Sofia captivates audiences through emotional storytelling, powerful vocals, and authentic songwriting.
Writing and recording original music from a young age, Sofia has released music across streaming platforms and has already received significant recognition within the Australian music industry. At just 14 years old, she won the Fairbridge Songwriting Competition (2021), before later winning two West Australian Music (WAM) Song of the Year Awards for her original songs “In Your Eyes” and “Laugh,” including the 14 Years and Under category (2023) and the Act Belong Commit category (2024).
Alongside her music career, Sofia is a trained triple-threat performer, studying contemporary and musical theatre vocals, jazz, tap, ballet, screen acting, and stage acting since the age of six. Her theatre credits include Ariel Moore in Footloose (2025), Heather Duke in Heathers: The Musical (2024), Ali in Mamma Mia! (2023), and Ariel in The Little Mermaid (2022).
Sofia regularly performs throughout Perth, continuing to establish herself as an emerging young artist within both the contemporary music and musical theatre industries.
